Displayed throughout ACMI are a selection of striking vintage film posters for classic films featured in this year’s film program, together with others that are representative of the many collaborations and co-productions that occurred within creatively, politically and socially challenging eras. The exhibition pays tribute to the poster image as a conduit into the unique space of cinema that, regardless of personal circumstance, permits one to be everywhere all at once and invites examination of the imaginative and transporting experiences you carry within you.
